We are thrilled to announce that Axiomatic Technology celebrates 30 years in business this year and we have chosen to commemorate the occasion with a donation to charity, The company was formed in 1994 at Nottingham Trent University (or Trent Polytechnic as it was at the time) when we were approached by CNC routing machine manufacturer Pacer to design and manufacture their control systems.
Since the early 2000s Axiomatic have been based in Kimberley and moved into automated footfall counting solutions, working with national retailers such as Topps Tiles, Bensons for Beds and Wren Kitchens as well as universities and visitor attractions including museums, theme parks and cathedrals.
Company owner David Moore and Managing Director Matt Scott decided to mark the milestone by donating £1 for every day that the company has been operational to charity, totalling £10,958. They gave the staff the opportunity to nominate a charity close to their hearts and the donation was split equally between them.
The charities chosen by the staff were; Midlands Air Ambulance, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), Tearfund, RNIB, Macmillan Cancer Support, MS Society, Alzheimer’s Society and the Brooke Hospital for Animals.
